Curriculum

Prendergast-Ladywell Fields College recognises the importance of each individual achieving their maximum potential in the form of national qualifications. All students are entered for public examinations. Staff, in consultation with students and parents, decide levels of entry. At present we offer a range of GCSEs, GNVQ (General National Vocational Qualification) including Vocational GCSE and BtEC.

Students are given opportunities for success through a broad and balanced curriculum taught by a team of dedicated and talented staff.

Prendergast-Ladywell Fields College has successful strategies for promoting high achievement, including a range of teaching methods to suit the diverse interests and abilities of students. Students are taught as individuals, in small groups and as a whole class. Lessons are enriched by many activities including ICT, video recordings, guest speakers and educational visits.
